The reality is that there is no rule about it. You should wear clothes that make you like your emo self. But there are some things that emos are likely do have, such as:

• All Stars
• Stripes and squares, lots and lots of them
• Belts with some metal on them
• Beads bracelets
• Those “tic-tacs” on your hair
• Blouses with cartoons
